Lasonic 975 - where do these cables belong?

I reconnected both blue cables and the black one but the Lasonic won't turn on. I tried the regular power plug, 12V and batteries. Seems like something else must be wrong as well?

When you tested wit batteries did you flip switch to dc? Did you attach all wires and set switch to 220v?

Thanks, I didn't know you had to do that. The 975 now powers up on batteries Sound is good, radio, line-in and Tape B are working fine. I'll check the cables again, maybe one or two got loose again. Anyway, it seems like the equalizer doesn't do a thing. Maybe I overlooked another loose cable? Or are there common faults that usually put the equalizer out of order?

Check all wires from EQ board. You must not have hooked up transformer correctly so AC not working. Double check all wires. Take pics and post

Congrats, Freddi!
The EQ is not very effective at all on those 975s . If you turn up the mids you should hear a tiny change though. I sprayed my EQ and that really did miracles for the sound .
