They are actually a stiff plastic with rounded notches for the screws.redbenjoe said:hey fatdog --look at that cool m70 sticker on the MKF box
do you make those ??
But I'll bet no one would ever notice the difference and I'll bet you'll sell a TON since almost every member has at least a dozen M70's. Boom Shakalaka is the exception with ONLY 5.Fatdog said:They are actually a stiff plastic with rounded notches for the screws.redbenjoe said:hey fatdog --look at that cool m70 sticker on the MKF box

...I like the M70 in silver but LOVE it in white...redbenjoe said:agree with norm --
the plain old common silver m70 --NEEDS some color !!
perhaps thats why we have members painting them
so -- that sticker should be the most popular seller
Thanks for the reminder Monchito, I almost forgot...I REALLY love it in gold...monchito said:were is the gold one
...I know...I haven't been able to find one yet in blue...Fatdog said:Hey Mel, you messed up that shot of the white M70 by putting a GREEN reel tape in.
...the one I have has really good original paint so I would never deface it....but I would if it were silver......monchito said:mell that m71 painted in a gold color paint what you think
Painting an M71 that's even in just average condition probably isn't smart since you will have just wiped out the rarity of the M71 and cut it's value (possibly dramatically). An M70 is a far better box to customize, they are far more common than the M71.mellymelsr said:...the one I have has really good original paint so I would never deface it....but I would if it were silver......monchito said:mell that m71 painted in a gold color paint what you think
