As topic suggests, when i plug the ipod and it's connector into the old skool trc, nothing but the softest music (no matter how loud the volume is turned up) and there is a slight buzzing noise over the track.
Is there anyway to fix this or am I doomed? I thought about trying to plug it into the mic mix but i dont have the bigger headphone adapter plug

Change or buy different connector cables...

Turn up the iPod volume (if you're not using an iPod stand with line-out capabilities)...

Do you have the iPod plugged into the "line-in" or "phono" inputs and not the "line-out" RCA jacks? If so, you should hear music loud and clear.

I returned the connector cables back today.
The volume was up and I had it plugged into "line in". I am going to buy another one (different brand) over the next few days and hopefully that solves it.
:-/ I will keep you guys updated.
