Although it may need some improvements on the legs it just like the original Technics 1200 which were also considered for Hi Fi audiophiles plus at that time 1972 when they were issued they sold for around $400 which today would be around $2,000 so is history repeating itself........yes!
But who cares these are beautiful turntables with some improvements.
Here's the 1200GR which Technics consider these for the DJ.

The Technics 1200 G/GR turntables are nice decks with some good new features and improvements to the classic design but at the money they're being sold for these decks are overpriced, not cheap in my opinion and the costs involved would put off most of the DJ's I've spoken to about them.
You can still get hold of original 1200/10's second hand and if you're prepared to shell out a little extra cash for mods such as an external PSU ,improved tonearm and a few other small modifications you could actually have a deck which would be equal to the GR models, in fact it would probably be better and for a significantly smaller amount of money in the process.
I have one of these luckily though..I got my Technics 1200 LTD back in the mid 1990s for £500 when my local hi fi dealers was selling off the last of their remaining stock.
Mine is number #77 of the 10,000 models which were manufactured.
