Thanks oldskool69 - I had this thing operating as my upstairs home theatre sound system yesterday - it's great for providing the big, thumping explosions!

Hi Reli, the V1.0 was designed to utilise the M9998K grills but after making the thing, I decided not to go ahead with the fitting.

The V2.0 with the big, white paper cones will definitely be getting grills. I'm just trying to find a grill that will fit over the 10 inch speaker surrounds that Sony fitted to these 8 inch speakers. The V2.0 will also be getting a set of M9998K feet!
