Reli said:Ah ha ha you got one of those "Word" tapes Norm? I saw those a few months ago and wondered what they were. Do they have gospel music on them?
Hell yes, those are awesome. Here's one in my Sanyo.Gluecifer said:Theres also a line Teac did with changeable reels. I'm in love with these, use them in most of my shots. Not easy to find though.
.
That's pretty funny. Hey it probably helped them get their "word" into the hands of kids because of the cool looking cassettes. Was there only one song on it? There doesn't look like much tape inside them.oldskool69 said:Reli said:Ah ha ha you got one of those "Word" tapes Norm? I saw those a few months ago and wondered what they were. Yes they do have gospel music on them. "The Word" label is still going today. However, they went to TDK cassettes sometime in the later half of the mid eighties and haven't looked back. Not having the metal reel saves quite a shekel. Plus they went from samples to full recordings and when better grade tapes became cheaper, the move was obvious.
I see these fairly enough being in the "Buckle of The Bible Belt", and grab them when I can.
