Changing Belts on JVC RC-M70

I have two, the deck's both do the same thing, you push(tap) the ff or rew or /pause and then It presses easily, kinda weird I have two doing It..

I have a M70 Deck doing this too there must be something out of wack
Anyone find out what it is ?
Will spend the day playing with the assembly
FF /REW seem to release something but still cant see what it is
I think it is something wrong on the play button that locks the stop

Mine was doing the same thing, now it won't work at all. But the buttons will push down just nothing happens and to release the play button you have to tap FF/Rew and then Stop. Pulley is turning but belt not moving.
