There was one guy who listed a Tosh S90 before he even won it from Yahoo. :dunce: He re-used the same pics. Testing the waters, I guess..

I was noticing even the lesser desired Magnavox D8443 on eBay has been selling for close to $200. I thought I blew my main board since my mistake was connecting power to the sub amp. (Forgot how it went back together since I hadn't touched it in a few months.) Long story short, I found a working junker for $66 delivered (and Packed excellently with care) to use for parts. It was good to have it as a check off to see where my wiring went. In the end I wired mine back to the way it was supposed to be and low and behold, it worked still! The pots on the junker are far better than mine, so it was worth it. But yes, I was surprised to see crap looking 8443's going for near 200. I must have missed something I thought...

most of my m90's in the past were 250, sadly not any more, there just not worth 1000 plus no box is, i had to stump up £500 for my pc x1000 and although a great box 500 is just mental

i remember trying to sell an m90 for £250 on stg years ago and nobody wanted it, it seems to me people only want these because they think there worth big money lol

By this time we all know who are those ruthless people "out" there ......

I have a few dead boxes sitting in my collection..... for proof!

Just move on with life and ignore those Raskkkols!

It is a shame to collectors!

Eight years ago or so I contacted an RC 550 seller locally when the Ebay auction was in progress and price was in the upper $800 already. I had to pay a higher price and get it after seeing the condition, when I went to see it.
He got me.... I should have backed off and not drooled at it... :w00t:

Sadly, I got into this hobby too late. High prices were already becoming a reality. To afford them, I had to buy broken and then fix them.

In about 12-18 months, boxes will probably be a lot cheaper. This economy has nowhere to go but down.

Keep your head up!
Deals are still out there, you just need to move quick!
I get mad and amazed at the boxes that sell on Ebay for fair and not ridiculous money that I missed out on!
But I didn't pay over fair market value for my boxes and 1 or 2 were below market, I just caught them at the right time!
