AIWA CS-J1's counter belt replacing is driving me crazy

Hello,

How to position the counter belt? because it has no furrow on the real platform assembly. With the blue panel in position, no place for a belt

I've mostly seen counter belts loop around the small part of the cassette tape drive reel. You'd have to put a belt on the counter pulley to judge where abouts because belts almost always ride on pulleys that are on the same plane.

Funkateer38, Working on mine, I couldn’t figure out how you get the belt under that gear. Am I correct that you have to do this step while you have the gear assembly out the other side for the main belt?

Also, I’m not sure the belt that I bought from eBay is really designed for the CS-J1. Do you mind telling me how you sourced those belts? Thanks!
