Hi, folks. Anyone know the name of a song with a female vocalist? The mid-tempo song was probably recorded after the year 2000. I'm not very good with lyrics, but the refrain seems to be:

Why don't you just stay away from me (Electronica riffs)

Why do you just think I want to hear what you say (The same or similar female vocals overlapping with "Why do you...")

I've heard the jam a few times on the National Public Radio (NPR) station WJCT-FM (89.9 MHz, Jacksonville, Florida). The last time I jotted down the song's airplay was September 24, 2018, with the music playing through 2:20AM ET. But repeated checks of their website's music programming listings (even minutes ago) don't seem to help me. Can anyone here on Boomboxery...?

Those lyrics are a "no-go" for me in searches.  I would suggest installing the Shazam app on your smartphone and use the app the next time you hear it.
