Hey, just wanted to share some pics of my vintage system.
It's no where near completion yet. Still looking to buy some 10" speakers, turntable, Pioneer tape deck and Pioneer elite CD Player.

Heres what I have so far. (see pics)

Pioneer SA-610 Amp (1980)
Pioneer TX-710 Tuner (1980)
Pioneer DT-500 Timer (1980)
Sony D-50 discman (1st ever discman made in 1984)
Realistic Minimus 7 walnut veneer 4" speakers (1988)
Ikea Limhamn stainless shelf 23" wide, 13 3/4" deep, 35" high
cd racks

my pops has some old realistic towers with original boxes in his basement....im gonna snag those real soon....
never saw those pioneer components....theyre fn gorgeous....when were they made?

Nice old school set up. :thumbsup: Man those Minimus-7 just keep popping up and tempting me! I had a set as a teenager. Sold them off with my Realistic receiver that had a broken power switch button that Radio Shack couldnt get a replacement for. I didnt realize what I had. :w00t:

What's the watts per channel, compared to the watts those speakers can accept? :lol:

Nice! My dad had that same system with the tape deck, turntable and Sansui speakers. The silver pioneer gear came with a cabinet too. He bought it after he sold his Sansui quad receiver, Teac tape deck and Dual turntable.

The pioneer gear was really nice to look at, and sounded nice with those Sanusis :yes:
