Tunner signal level problem

Hello,

I have RC-838L, FM tunner was playing great with FM Stereo. I did ordinary thinks, like balance, power and stereo switches repair. All fine, tuner plays fine. Yesterday I did service of cassette mechanism, it is playing great, but after assambly I figured out, that tuner sensitivy is worst, I can only get signal level up to 6 from 10 and no FM Stereo. before it I was easily to get 8 from 10 with Stereo. Would you somebody help me with this issue? I do nothing with tunner, all cables are intact.

Remake all the aerial connections from PCB you can loose signal though high resistance. Check the ground on the cassette mech,.

You might have accidentally touched and deformed the soft tuning coils on the tuner. That’s very easy to do. If that’s the case, you’ll need to get the tuner realigned.
