Rising SRC 2005 Loudness issue (?!)

I found a fully working Rising SRC 2005 though it is very dirty. I noticed that the Loudness switch has little to no effect on the sound. Is that normal with this box? Or is there a way to improve the loudness feature, any hint where to look?

Rising SRC 2005 needs a complete switch cleaning. In most cases that will solve many issues. I have had one with a real bad function switch which was the root cause of many problems. In that case I had to remove the switch from the PC board and open it and clean. Spraying Deoxit faderlube 5 and moving the switch back and forth many times didn't do the job.

Thank you for the insights. I will drench the switches in cleaner and see where it gets me.

Here is an update: I flooded all switches in contact cleaner, let it dry and then gave them a squirt of contact spray. The Loudness has improved significantly. Thanks for the hint!
