I've been gathering as much information as I can on adjusting tape heads. I'm about to attempt it on my Aiwa AD-6900 3 head deck. I've ordered one of Willy Hermann's universal cassette gauges as I expect to use it in our boomboxes as well. My question concerns which screws do what. If anyone could let me know what the screws at the heads in the picture exactly do it would be greatly appreciated. I'm also trying to determine how to adjust the tape head height (Up and down). The deck pictured is out of a Nakamichi but identical to what's in my Aiwa. Any help or guidance is most appreciated.

Most likely to be the azimuth angle adjusting screw...
Head height is not a usual parameter to adjust in a bombox deck, it often involves degreasing, checking springs etc.

The screws with the springs are for adjustments and the other ones are stationary and tightened down.
The deck you have pictured has the spring on top of the r/p head plate.
On all of the boomboxes I've worked on, it's underneath so the turning of the screw, in or out, moves the plate in or out therefore adjusting the r/p head.
