First gf 9494. Which speaker wires go where.

Hope everyone enjoyed their summer. Just picked this up. It was opened owner was painting the speakers or something. Didn't re attach the wires. The multi wire plug goes which way and the speaker wires go in which order. Downloaded schematic from this awesome site but wasnt helping. The headphone plug was also laying around is that where it belongs? Thanks everyone

That wire harness should snap into the plug where you have to press on the locking tab to release it. I would say that the black wire is - and the yellow wire is + to the woofer. On the other side black - white + .Usually the tweeters are fed from the terminals on the woofer . I would confirm everything first once you reconnect that plug.

Thanks. I found the pins where the speaker wires connect to just to the side of the cassette deck. Now to clean these damn sliders lol

Once speakers were hooked up, noticed bass slider dead. Treble would cut all sound off. Left volume slider dead right was staticy and would come and go with sound. Cleaned sliders and buttons. Everything working fine now, buttttt while bass works now it's low. I read these don't have bass, but I was hoping for more. Still looks great, but it's the bass that bad. My usual listening radio is conion c100. But even my Sanyo mx 520 blow this away. Thanks
