Got a Sharp CD boombox today-a WQ-CD240.

Cost me $20.

A label attached to it said the second tape deck was faulty-photo of the label below.

But to my suprise, when I got it home the second tape deck works perfectly.

Sound-it's very loud with a nice level of bass.

Features:
-Dual cassette decks
-Tone control
-CD synchro recording
-Digital tuning for the radio (FM/MW/LW)
-High speed dubbing with beat cancel function
-plays CD's

The label saying the second tape deck was faulty:

Congratulations! This model certainly looks dated reflecting well a specific time in the history of the boombox. This dated aspect is one of the most interesting things about collecting boxes.I'm into all eras and their are others here the same way.Hang onto it and take good care with it.These will be considered more and more collectible as the years go by.Personally I like the ability to pull out a different box everyday and enjoy the variety. This somehow makes even the worst days seem bearable.Interesting model indeed
