Hi everyone-I really could use some suggestions-My M-60JW
Been trying to fix my good one I bought about 2 years ago & never have gotten around to doing the fix up,still am baffled!!!
Bad power some how but when all boards have been replaced with ones from my good working powerful M-60 boomer it doesn't fix it!! Tried Main board, tuner section & cassette decks!! There's nothing left! ONLY the remote circuit & wires & a small other little connector & the cassette controls, how could they affect power output???
It's just like a bad power supply but can't find it! It's crazy,my parts box has great output on both sides!
I mean what's left that would make it do this? Yes I've exchaged backs to(Power supply) to!
Norm-Help-any suggestions?? :superduper:

It's-possessed!!!! :-O :'-( :nonono:
I would love to get this working 100%-I can fix the deck with a new diode!! I know only because I was working on it and had it laying on it's front & the buttons like simultaneously switched on or something and it burned out right in front of me-Goes into circuit # X812 on the cassette board.,I've tested(bypassed it & it plays good, right speed & everything & auto stops to but need part soldered in & my stupid soldering gun isn't that precise-this board is somewhat compact!
!

Man these 2motor full logics are something.
My parts box cassette needs new belts at least then that deck will work.
I'd really appreciate any input on this.
Thanks-Jeff. :-) :hmmm:

Yes I have and it's a little more powerful but volume & stereo light still cut out right away with any noticeable volume.
The power switch is one of my guesses-I also need to test the voltage going from the power supply to the switch & to the board & see where the problem if I can find it.
Thanks for you reply,I was hoping more people would give me some help on this but I appreciate your suggestion-the only other thing I can think of is the remote control sector & or the cassette control section but how would this affect power output??
I'm hoping it's the power switch But really not sure.
Thanks-Jeff. :hmmm:
