As ugly as that thing is, it's still an M90 and I STILL don't have one. :-/

You still have a classic with that Aiwa CS-880 with papers. Did you ever get the speakers worked out?

I took it apart a few days after the meet and pulled the woofers, I placed weatherstripping between the front case and the woofers to seal the box, it made a 100% difference, now with the DSL on I have to keep the bass level at 1/2 or less!!

Thanks I obviously love my 880 too having kept it all these years, the 600 is nice too can't believe it's as clean as it is, and I only paid like $26 for it. the 3 pc. is a panasonic I got at the local thrift store, the first boombox I have found at any of the thrift stores and it looks brand new.

Excellent boombox taste to say the least!That Aiwa is 2 die 4 ! About Ira's M90,it's kind of cool looking actually.It would look totally in place in a photoshoot with a boat.Very marine-like scheme on it.
