As ugly as that thing is, it's still an M90 and I STILL don't have one. :-/

You still have a classic with that Aiwa CS-880 with papers. Did you ever get the speakers worked out?

I took it apart a few days after the meet and pulled the woofers, I placed weatherstripping between the front case and the woofers to seal the box, it made a 100% difference, now with the DSL on I have to keep the bass level at 1/2 or less!!

Thanks I obviously love my 880 too having kept it all these years, the 600 is nice too can't believe it's as clean as it is, and I only paid like $26 for it. the 3 pc. is a panasonic I got at the local thrift store, the first boombox I have found at any of the thrift stores and it looks brand new.

Excellent boombox taste to say the least! That Aiwa is 2 die 4 ! About Ira's M90,it's kind of cool looking actually. It would look totally in place in a photoshoot with a boat.Very marine-like scheme on it.

hey tony --
there are actually TWO aiwa model 770s --

i think there are the exact same performance
--but remarkably different to see from the front views --

since all you want is ONE #770
then -- you will have 2 nice -
but very different choices

the top one is the only one I have seen and the one in the brochure I have, it's also the same one you had at the meet right? does the lower one say 770with a letter after it? It's hard to see in that picture. Do you know if the lower one was not a US model or something?

"yup - i brought the top 770 to our meet --from there it went on to michigan :-) "

after you and Ramon left and I realized the 770 was still there before Brett claimed it I thought you had left it for me, lol

oh wishful thinking I guess

I like the top one best

its beautiful  -
-has the identical bright blue/silver scheme as your 880

that wasn't nice, I wonder which one came first and why there are 2 models? unless like I said one may be the Japan version or something?
