bill remember one thing before re assemble remove the power switch that's mounted inside the lp door and let it hang loose until the halves are back together ,otherwise its very easy to break mounting tabs on the switch lever mounted to the front of the box when trying to line everything back up they bind and break off so easy.,once you got it together you can just screw the switch back in place .

also alignment of the phono/headphone jack board is very crucial and a pita to line the board up with the front case.

and before you pull it apart too far you have to disconnect both speaker plugs from the cabinets , these wires tend to break off because they are so small..

I'm working through this at the moment having printed all 85 pages out (at work obviously!) and it has been absolutely essential in stripping my VZ. Theres no way in a million years I would've been able to do it without it.

Its so clear and easy to follow. Its made the whole thing a joy to work on and must have taken the person who did it so many hours! So thank you to them!!!!! :-D

The only problem I had was right at the beginning when taking out the turntable but that was because the owner had never taken out the transport screws! Once I worked that one out it was a doddle!

Hy guys,

I cant remove the control panel. Got everything unscrewed (I guess) and it seems very loose. But the right side seems to be stuck. And i dont want to pull to hard.

Is there any trick or a secret screw?

Thanks in advance,

Schmack

If you're talking about the top inner section with the controls on then I seem to remember there were a few screws to undo then it clips in/out...I think I was a bit puzzled by it at the time but assuming you've undone all the screws you'll be fine. There might have been a screw around the aerial...maybe?
