Four sections

Tongue thickness: 2mm

From tip to bottom of the tongue: 10-3/16"

From tip to first section: 3/4"

Best quess! ;-) I did call them had no reference to Conion 100f . They just ask you what you need! But those should work! I had to use my best judgement on my antennas. Brought several from them. Nice antennas!

Those measurements from fatdog look correct to me. I can't guarantee my is the orig one, but it seems like it, and it matches his measurements so I assume it is orig.

Here's some pics for ya. Tell me if you need any other pics or otherwise a you can see I have mine apart right now so I can tell you any internal measurements and/or photos you might want. Just ordered enough belts for the next 50 years of this boxes life. One old belt was literally just dissolving as I tried to take it out. I'd grab a bit of it and it'd just separate like it was Twinkle filling. So that explains why the play head and all was stuck up. Little manual turning of the gears and it popped itself back in the 'stopped' state. New belts can't get hear soon enough. :)

Well mine came off in .25 inch pieces of goo. I have 2 C100FF's I'm working on right now and I believe I have 1 good flat belt for the lower deck and maybe 1 good one for the top. I just went off the other thread that listed a lot of the 'major' boxes belt sizes.

It had this for the C100FF
tape 1
FBM 9.6
SBS 8.9 x 2
Tape 2
SBS 10.0 or SBM 10.0 ( I think you can get away with either)

I have them on the way, so I will hopefully know for sure around this time next week. I'll update yall on what I find out. Hopefully I will update you and say that I have 4 working tape decks, but I can only wish it'd be that smooth and that quick. But so far I'm loving how much cleaner it is overall once I got knobs off, chassis apart and all. Tuner cover was just kinda funky behind it and dusty and all. about 15 seconds of just dusting and now it's real nice. Gonna see rock the scratch remover/polish on the front of the tuner cover to get out this hairline scratches. Have hopes of getting this 4 outta 10 like unit to maybe a 7 when I'm done. Other one could cosmetically be an 8 when done, but has more internal needs to attend too before it's overall that tight.

FINALLY got some time put the 1st Conion back together after replacing 3 belts. All belts seem to be working great and for the first time since having the box when neither deck worked, both now work. FF and RW seem fast as can be, playing sounds all good etc. Even my previously static causing bass and vol pods are real smooth and clean sounding now. Only thing I noticed was when playing 'backwards' on the top deck it doesn't sound so good and one speaker it buzzing. If I hit the 'prog' button to the other side, it's back sounding great. Just hoping to get that fixed before call it done. Not sure what may cause that though. Anyone have any thoughts on what might cause it to only have issues when going in reverse? I'm not even quite sure I understand how that works.

Really random as this morning I got back to it and it was working fine. I have cleaned the heads and all. I actually have the top deck connected but not mounted, so I can easily adjust if needed. Now there's just a bit of tape hiss sound. Not sure if there's a common cause of that, but it could also be my old RUN DMC test tape worn to hell. I'm still estatic that I managed to pull off my first total belt replacement, and put it back together to see it actually work.

Also realizing the reason the tape door on the lower deck never opens all the way on it's own on this box, I'm missing the horizontal spring thing that mounts on the bottom. See below. Just saw that my other Conion has that thing to help it 'spring' open. Doubt I'm gonna find an extra one from a C100F, and of course I don't see a similar spring in any other boxes I have. If anyone has a junk/parts box with a similar spring, I've love to get it. Otherwise I wonder if I could find any thin metal like that and try to make one. Even just a random mountable spring on one side would probably do the trick.

I swear it's not rusty like this pic looks. Iphone 3 pic in bad lighting. Gross.

I found/cut a spring to be just like that one you have in, but have you had luck with it staying in place? It works great once in there but mine seems to be fine a few times through opening/closing, but then because the pressure is on the left on one end and right on the other, it twist loose. Guess I should make a right angle at the end rather than just the pointed end. (this just turned into my inner monologue i think). Gonna give that a shot I guess.

And I just got some of those Lasonic Ant from the Lasonic site. They seem like the right length for the C100F's, but a bit 'wussy' and thinner diameter than the orig Conion. So it'll have to be the best I can do for now on my 'rougher' one I guess. Noticed that those aren't the same as the 931, 918, or 922. You'd think they could maybe have some of them the same across a few more models (or at least the ones I have).

The spring I made works great, door always opens and closes perfectly...I had to try a few attempts to get it just right and spring stays in place :-D as for the antennas I put an extra small washer in each and it tightened up perfectly...They are thinner then the originals but look great, you just have to be more gentile opening them so they dont bend ;-)
