Taira RC-M90 Dreamblaster Photoshoot!

For those unaware, I've been doing a big custom paint job on a JVC RC-M90. This has been documented in great detail here:

This project has been a genuine labor of love and I'm super-happy with the results! Today I did a photoshoot with her exclusively to try and capture all the details and angles.

have a comment and a question -

the first picture - with the 'non-competing' cassette --looks even better to me that the rest
which have the super-color tape

and - how did you end up doing the chrome strip below the tuner dial

Well, no matter where in the world that boombox is, it will be immediately recognizable as the GluBox. One of a kind fer sure.

Thanks Ira! I think that Memorex is PERFECT for the radio too. But I love using the fruity open reel tapes for photos too. That's why I did both. Some of the pix may seem repetitive but because the pink paint is fluorescent it appears different colour from different angles and lighting.

The chrome on under the tuner dial and on the tweeter surrounds is exactly what you suggested for it: chrome pinstriping tape for cars!!

That stuff is perfect for any chrome finish, thanks again for that idea.

Nice job. I was reading the other treat and just happy how much joy u have from the finished job. All is about this. Im just wondering the feeling... Is it like first school love? Trying to imagine big man shaking with love bumps . Congrats mate. Massive .
