what the better to replace speakers for this model( full range with 6 ohm impedance)

if someone has an idea? :frankenstein:

for the moment sound come from two 8 ohms hifi speaker but i'd like to keep boombox appearence (need less space and i'm boombox lover too)

welcome to the site :yes: :yes: :yes: i have a pc-5 but no speakers so i have been looking at small bookshelf ones that is if you do not have them...but if you have the original speakers most of them the surround head south so replacing the foam would be the way unless they are burnt then you have to find something that will work in terms of ohms and wattage and fit :-)

Thanks :hi: :agree: refoam kit is a good idea but it's a difficulty to find the good size (less than 4' )

You probably want 6 ohm, not 8 ohm to stay with the original specs. Personally I have not found any direct full-range replacements as of yet. But I did just order a set of surrounds from China that just might fit. It will be close. It might be a month before they arrive, but if the do work I will be ordering alot more (I have a *few* PC-5) and I will let you know.

exact 6 ohms are better for this box maybe 2way speakers from a car system audio for example?
for the moment there's two hifi speakers (2 ways and 8ohms) and the sound is very POWERFULL!! :surf:

well i took a pair of kaboom speakers and put them straight into my recently aquired pc5.....they were a dead fit....shape,size and sound....now my pc5 is sounding awesome as hell again....m90 eater lol :yes:
