Got last time some sportsline walkys.
Some original ones from SONY, also some interesting fakies. :blush:

Very nice! I like them all but my favourite of them would be number 2.
Its funny, I dont see the newer models with digital tuner very often.
And your WM-SX 34 (pics 1-3) comes with a clip while mine got that big orange strap. :hmmm:

I put my Sony sportsman through hell and it sill worked for years. I used it for swim meets and I think it was tossed in the pool 3 or 4 times and still worked.

I had a newer generation Sony Sport boombox a few years back. It survived 3 Saco River canoe trips in Maine but couldn't handle a bon fire at my old house in Lowell, MA. :sadno:
That was a long time ago. I DARE someone to throw one of my boxes in the "pit" today. :nonono:
Sony certainly builds a helluva weatherproof product. :yes:

They really used to build them tough. I remember having the tape reverse automatically and play the tape on the other side vs. having to take the tape out to play the "B" side...I miss my old sony!!
