Tony Brown a.k.a. Anthony Chocolate is a DJ on Philly's WDAS FM who's been running "The Quiet Storm" radio show since waaaaay back in the 70's...
He comes on around 8 or 9 and goes off after midnight on the weekdays... This is his "transition" - or crossover gimmick -

According to the original poster, that recording was made on October 9, 1982... I also have a an early 80's recording of the transition on tape somewhere...
I haven't really listened to 'DAS in a hot minute but I might stay up to check out the transition at midnight and beam aboard!
