Hi all,

Regarding the Dynasty DiscoLite box - How is the speaker lighting done ???

I imagine an LED is mounted on top of the speaker-magnet, and inside the clear/white speaker dome????
Is it accesable to change lights? i guess if they're LEDs, then they would need changing anyway.....

Ripped off the net.....

I haven't seen one in person, so i only have assumptions ;)

Anyone?
MM.

yes it has a board around the speakers thats where your leds will be and yes the speakers have holes for the bulbs that luminate with sound there is a board which is shared with power supply and for the led lights.. i belive the bulbs to be around 3 or 6 volts not sure .. leds are powered by the main powersupply board and carries the output signal there also...

The speaker magnets are basically "doughnuts" and the lights go up through them.

I have always wondered how they did that. It makes perfect sense BUT that means that's a one off speaker design!

Sent Rick a PM. Got mine last night. Seems to work as described. I found a shop to look at mine. If they are not comfortable with it I will split it myself. :hmmm:
