Hi guys. I found this grimey little 8Track under a junk pile at my GoodWill store's As-Is section. I know it isn't a typical grail but I found it interesting and like that it was complete. I plugged it in and immediately, it came to life. The sound was strong and static free. I'd like to know the year, but have no other info or history on it. Here are some pics. I'd very much appreciate your thoughts on it.
Thanks! Adam :police:

Thanks guys. ;-) Jens! I was hoping you would find this and shed some of your great knowledge on this. Thank you Sir. Any luck with the year it was made? I was excited to see a YouTube clip of it in action too. The guy is annoying to listen too but this little radio sound so surprisingly good.

1977, Man! I was 10 yrs. old and jumping trash cans in the alley with my AMF Evel Knievel bicycle. I crashed so many times with that bicycle thinking I was a stunt rider like him. I still have the scars to prove it. I'm so off topic.

Hey Jens, I forgot to mention.... I opened the rear panel for a quick peak and noticed the 8 Track motor was "JVC".

Nice 8-Track boomer there Adam!
I have a Lloyd's.
I like you have the Saturday Night Fever tape-boy I hope you don't play it too much.We used to get the buisness if you had anything Saturday Night Fever, meaning it usually got busted!!
So that's a survivor!
Nice Boomer-8 Tracks rule-I have about 100!
Have a great one-GB. :-)

Beautiful unit ! I particularly like the wraparound tuner window. I was 13 in 1977. Though this I certainly know, I sometimes have to convince myself that I actually lived through that era.Looking at the heavy build of the unit,it almost seems like I don't even live on the same planet that boombox came from !

Hahahaha.... It reminds me of one of those Drive In speakers we used to set in our car windows. Remember those days?
Hi Adam-I sure do-just don'tforget to take it off before you take off!!
I've see some windows come out of their tracks or even places where thespeakers were after someone took off wiith it!! :-P :-O
Thanks for the cool speaker pic-BTW-they always sounded awful didn't they-but loud-boombox's were better!!
Have a great one-GB. :-) :-P
