C100F Cassette Tray Spring Help

Does anyone have a picture of how the spring for the lower cassette tray mounts. I can't seem to figure it out. Without the spring in place, manually, I can make the tray work in and out normally with the pin guide. I know the spring allows it to "push in" "push out" for operation. I just can't get it to seem to do that as I expect. A close up shot would be great if you have it.

This is kind of a high priority as this is a members box and the last piece to ship it back to him.

Please let me know if you have any advice.

Thanks!
Chris

[[ Pictures deleted as they were incorrect ]]

It's funny because I had everything right except for the SIDE of which the rear anchor of the spring was to go. I was like WTF.

And now that I look at my BBX folder for the C100, I realize I had the images saved there as well......oh well......live and learn.......LOL

I tried this six ways to sunday, even removed all old grease to get a smooth functional action. I can't seem to get it to work.

Does anyone know HOW is it supposed to work? Is it I push it in and it pops out? Do I "pull" it out and it springs back to home position?

I did it exactly like the images and I'm getting no action at all, no push out no pull back, and the small part of the spring keeps popping out when I slide the draw in an out...............I'm really frustrated.

Anyone seen one work?

As far as I can remember, it is a "push in - pop out" kind of tray. Even when it works, it doesn't seem to work that well.

Bobby,

Take down those pictures, they are not just wrong but COMPLETELY wrong. I figured out tonight how this truly works and those pics sure as **** aren't even on the same planet.

I'll post up pictures most likely tomorrow, but I've captured them and will release how this is supposed to work.
