It locked up my PC. Probably too big...

Cool vid! That Sansui destroyed the mini Panny!

Got any of the bigger boxes goin' at it?
Unfortunately we spent so much time on the minis and mid sized
by the time we got to the big boys my camera battery was dead. :sadno:

Nice videos, Frank! I wish we had some video where Ralf battled with his Aiwa CS-880. That was sweet. It took the King of Boomboxes to beat Ralf's 880. Not even my stock 880 could hang with it. :-/

This thread will be merged with the main 2010 SSM thread later today.

Hey Thanks Bobby!!! and thanks Ira It tied up my laptop all evening and overnight to post all these but it was well worth it to share with you guys!!
Can we leave this as a seperate thread and sticky it???
I think more people would get to see the post that way.
I dont want it to disapear into another thread.
BTW you merged the photo thread at the same time I copied and pasted all 70 some odd pics to the thread from photobucket and I lost the entire post because by the time i got done the thread didnt exist anymore.

Your efforts are well appreciated! These give us all a good idea of some of the "goings-ons" (is that a proper term  ) of the gathering. There were some very HQ blasters at the meet :w00t: .I don't see too many glitzy thunderboxes though :-/ .Unfortunately,I can't view them and get a consistent rendering either. If the truth be known,a good number of people can't actually view HD video on their pcs with any consistency. It seems the industry is so eager to push the envelope with new cameras,we can't afford the new computer that should necessarily come with it.This makes the HD experience very expensive because you almost can't have one without the other.Of course I say this sitting behind a P4 with 512ram.It was time to upgrade a long time ago  .I suppose i could convert them for my Ipod. .

Jovie you can select to watch a non hd version of the video through youtube .
There is a drop down at the lower right of each of the video screen, in which you can choose the lowest possible resolution.
That is what has worked for me. just choose 360p or 480p instead of 720p

Very cool Frank! I took your recommendation this year and bought a DSC-H20,and I really like it a lot. I was just wondering about it. Thanks and sorry to get off topic. ;-) :-)
