Hooked up the Victor W300 to these Mission (MS-50) bookshelf speakers I had around and the sound improvement is just amazing. These are pretty good little speakers and I really dig the look of them. If the BBox was in better shape (both decks are not working) I might be tempted to do a permanent replacement. The fit would be almost perfect and it would not be too hard. I don't know - I really like these little speakers.

are they like 'oldschool' 70s or 80s ?
are they rare /
or easy to find ??

thanks

I love W300's and that looks like a winning combo - painting the speakers may be the easiest of the two choices - is it real veneer or just vinyl? :hmmm:

I picked the speakers up at Goodwill for $15 not sure how hard they are to find. I looked them up when I brought them home and the company Mission looks like them make quality speakers, these are one of the smallest that they make.
They look to be covered with a vinyl wood grain cover on wood. They have a very weight to them.
The speakers are 6ohm - same as the originals. Range is 20-50 watts.
