Ralf, Heidi, my wife Lori and I had a great evening hangin' out and talking about and listening to boomboxes last night. I have a whole new respect for the Aiwa 880! What a sweet sounding machine, And Ralf's looks soooooo good with his LED window mods.
Oh, and the steaks, beer and wine were good, too!
Plus, since it's only about 10 minutes from my house, I felt obligated to take our German visitors to the Sunshine Skyway bridge during the final moments of daylight! It seemed like the perfect place to take the obligatory picture!
We are all really, really looking forward to Saturday!

Since once again I can't make the road trip to Florida, I decided to set up my own "Mostly Cloudy with a Chance of Showers Mix 2010" along the placid shores of Lake Michigan this weekend. As you can see, it's not very crowded.
So... when I'm not listening to Lady Gaga on my boomer, I'll be walking along the beach, taking in the beauty of the gray, overcast skies and experiencing the tingling sensations of the invading Asian Carp between my toes. And who says the Great Lakes aren't a vacation paradise this time of year??

these 3 clowns --
they go by the names of freddie, ralf and bobby
they pose as boombox collectors :annoyed:
to gain entry to the homes and neighborhoods of legitimite afficianardos---
then they molest women & children -
then they rape our refrigerators
and even worse --
they fail to admire our grails

strongly advise to not let them thru your doors !!
