Hey gang,

Here's a good place to buy some decent tapes. For the money, I recommend:

Maxell XLII (I think these are the "best deal" of the bunch)
TDK SA
Akai GX-90
Maxell UR
TDK D
AKAI SX

(not necessarily in that order, depending on what you think is a reasonable price for a new, decent quality tape)

I've ordered from them and they are very reliable.

70c for Chrome 90min Akais???

Bloody hell!! It costs my SEVEN times that to get one locally new!!

Tony, is there a way I can paypal you some money + shipping for these? Cause it's going to cost me about AU$50 worth of tapes plus shipping to send you 10 chrome 90s, plus then cover you for postage back.

I always heard that chrome and metal tapes were sold with very limted distribution in .au, but I never realised it rubbish it actually was!

Man alive, I treat every chrome tape I can find like manna from heaven,.. if only it was like it is over there!!

Rock On.

they are .70 if you buy 200 or more, they are .80 for 10 to 199, minimum order is 10, still very cheap, as for shipping from them

"ON ORDERS - $25 OR MORE YOU ARE CHARGED THE EXACT UPS SHIPPING COST

ON ORDERS - UNDER $ 25 YOU ARE CHARGED $ 10.00 for SHIPPING and HANDLING"

so for 10 of those akai c-90's it would roughly be about $18

still cheaper than buying them local and paying to ship them to me.

if you want to send me money PM me and I'll get you my paypal info
