Powering RC-71 with DC power pack

I’m looking to buy a DC power pack for charging of ipad/phone etc. And wondered if the same unit could power the Boombox through the 12v DC input.

I dont see why it wouldn't, as long as the input jack was correct.

Has anyone any experience doing this? Which power pack did you use?

I also have a solar panel for charging phones etc, that works great, if I could recharge my new power pack with the solar panel, then I am one step closer to living off grid, with the RC-M71 as entertainment

I tried a couple I had lying around on my M70 and neither worked. YMMV tho.

Just make sure you can pump out enough current at 12v. The cheapest way would be to use a small lead acid battery which you could charge with the PV panels.
