Recently I could increase my collection of Hitachi small boombox collection. In Western World the TRK-6700 / TRK-6701 are known. What maybe is not so known, is that in Japan they devided this BB design into 3 different types under “Perdisco†line. The LX-2 is the version with the most features.

On picture below you see the 6700H in standard dark-silver color, LX-20 in rare red color, LX-2 in standard dark-silver color and the LX2 in very rare red color.
Here a close-up picture of LX-2 red and a short video, showing the functions. As you can hear, it needs some maintenance as there is audible W&F, especially for recording.
