Help needed: Tuner display lighting Clairtone 7978

Noob question: I have a Clairtone 7978 with nonfunctioning tuner display bulbs. I have seen Fatdog's post from several years ago on the 2 led customization of a rising-2015. Slightly intimidated as a completly unskilled rookie I started to look for bulbs. I found several options which I would like your advice on and wondering if the approach has changed since the original mod.

Found:

1. 6V 100 ma Axial lead bulbs
