Looking for recommendations on how to repair the rear case. I took the dive this weekend knowing it will turn into a over all big project. First matter at hand... The rear case was cracked from poor packing when it was shipped to me from an eBayer. I am wondering what the best product would be to adhere is back with a material that could be sanded down so I can repaint the rear case or should I just glue it back on and live with the crack being visible? The back has some yellowing so I’m thinking since I have to repair the crack I may as well paint instead of cleaning the back. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks everyone.

Had a similar issue with our Conion. Forum member Reli recommended this for case cracks. He said it actually melts the plastic together which may help hide the crack. As for whether or not it's sandable I don't know. https://www.amazon.com/SCIGRIP-Adhesive-Applicator-Bottle-Needle/dp/B079J4CNJ4/

I prefer JB plastic weld for it's strength. Really depends on whether or not you decide to paint the rear case or retrobrite it down the road I suppose. Good luck with your project!
