Hi, I have a Toshiba RT-F452D mono box which unfortunately has a really poor tweeter. I was wondering if it is possible to somehow replace it with a better tweeter? Any advice much appreciated.

Its always worth it! Some car stereo speakers might have the size you're looking for. Look on Amazon and pay attention to the dimensions. The space looks decent for a replacement.
I did have a look at some car stereo tweeters but they seem to be rated at quite high watts I was unsure if they would work properly in my mono box?MesaAZGuy said:

Update, whilst having a sort out I found a whole bunch of these minis that came in bird song christmas crackers from last Christmas. Being the sort of sad middle age man that I am I put one into my radio today (Christmas eve) and to my surprise it works very well, it even fitted in almost perfectly without altering anything. The new tweeter does distort and start clicking at just over half volume but I don't listen above half so its not a problem. The last photo shows the crappy transducer that was originally in the radio which was indeed useless.
