best place for service or repair west yorkshire please

While I am unsure of any local repair facilities near you, I just wanted to comment on this machine. :jawdrop:

Anyway, if the issue is with the cassette decks, I seem to recall that a few of the Philips brands have those orange gears that turn to goo. I may be wrong on this and this may only be specific models.

Again, that is one nice looking machine. I hope you are able to get it going :yes:

One of the tape decks makes a noise unless paused .and she old so I want to get her serviced while being repaired. I have original service manual if this helps

I know Bradford well, as a breaker going to manningham lane's Dollars and Dimes/Mecca early mid 80's, i lived in Queensbury as a kid.
If the gears are not disintegrated, I should be able to give it a service to sort. PM me and we'll get something arranged.

I also went to dollars and dimes to the teen seen only though I lived on Woodside nice to here from a fellow breaker I remember my adidas sprint tracky and my Kodak baseball cap lol good days very good days I've had this stereo since then it was from sunwin house do you remember pagit cant remember if it was Jason or James

He was one of the best breakers I have ever seen

Sunwin House in Bradford haha yeh I remember it well. I know the padgets through my brother mostly as they were a bit older, but yeh I know who they are :)
I too went to the thursday night teen scene, mostly with the halifax crew trying out new moves then catching the 576 back home from the exchange, what a time!
