I dont think the other vz motors are the same. The service manuals have different codes and i dont think theyre wired the same since the 2000 uses a series of transistors for control and the 2500 uses an IC.

Whats occurring with it? Do you get correct voltages at q508?
Are the variable resistors which control 33/45 speeds checking out as 10k?

Thank you for your response. I disassembled my VZ-2500 and the engine has a different reference than the VZ-2000 even though it looks like.
My problem is that it doesn't work, it doesn't turn.

Problem could be q508 or the IC.
Need to check voltages at q508.

I took stock of my situation: Still not find a phono engine for VZ-2500.
So I tried to plug a vZ-3500 motor, the engine works but doesn't stop even with the switches.

thought I'd find a replacement VZ-2500 engine with a slight reference difference of mine BFB2B91-20803-A instead of BFB2B91-20929-A but still doesn't work.

Why is the difference?

So i still looking for BFB2B91-20803-A . let me PM

I think they are internally different on the little circuit board inside the motor.
