I was at goodwill the other day & they wanted $35 for a
Admiral Boombox From the 90's it had a few things wrong with it but it did not sound too bad.

two of the EQ sliders were broken off & the radio display could not be read unless you pressed on it & the Cassette decks did not work. CD player seems like it worked

the lady would not even go any lower on the price even after telling her all the problems it has & it has been there for over a week. she said you have to wait untill it's 50% off even at half price that's still high at $17.50

some of the mangers there are nice & will work with you but not this lady

i said boomboxes are usually $10 & she says not anymore now there $35
which is not really true because i seen a 2000's sony boombox for $20

they even had a Montgomery Wards vcr from the 80's for $25 that did not work with a tape stuck inside it
she said i can do $18 on it which is still high i think

yes it did sound pretty good on the cd player & radio when i tried it
it also has a bass boost button
if it's there this Friday i will see if i can get it half price or maybe even more if the other guy is there
only thing is i'll have to see if there is a way to fix the EQ sliders & the tuner display

the price it is now is way to much for all the problems it has it will even need a new antenna

there is one on facebook marketplace for $30 with remote
but she will not ship it
it's in Coventry, CT
