COMPLETED! Custom Blue JVC RC-M90JW!

DONE!! Added more LED's to tweets, radio indicator and UV meters. Hardwired in a bluetooth. Replaced woofers with Advent woofers.

Next a red one!

Looks so different from original, but is good to have custom boombox.

That is a great looking blue and the re-decal job really helps finish the resto-mod.

blu-fuz…taped off the original decals. 3.5 hr.

Painted 3-4 coats Deep Blue, color sanded w/600/800 grit, pulled tape off decals. Cleared the whole thing. You have to use the whole can, only has a 48hr. pot life.... so I used the whole can. 5 coats clear last 2 laid it on think! Color sanded flat areas then buffed.

Are those speakers white? If so, that would make the box pop with being blue. I can envision that look

Advent woofers? Those are vintage 70s/80s, right?

I believe they are the older speakers.
I have the JVC M70 and I'm looking to get it restored to look similar to that one.
