I received my radio the other day and it looks like the tuning knob is recessed into the case on the side. I am not sure if some radios came that way. it does tune fine and is easy to spin with a finger. Looks like factory but since I never had one of these units before I am not sure if it came that way or not.

The 9994 knob looks verrrry similar to the 9990, maybe that'll work?

I did see that one but at nearly $11 shipping to shove it in an envelope and send it is ludicrous. I may have no choice in the end.
