Was scrapping a crapped out 2015 Sony Radio/CD/Cassette Corder and noticed it had 4Ω speakers (and a cassette drive with parts) that could be used on our FP-1010...
Alas, one of the speakers tore during the install so we were obliged to keep the 8Ω speakers with which we'd replaced the damaged original speakers when we got this wee beastie...
The replaced belts on drive one were no longer working so we took the still-good belts on the dead Sony and installed them. Now works a treat!
Quite the delight to work on! And the cassette mechas are still being made...
