Hi everyone.

My name is Mike and I'm from Perth Western Australia.

Been taking electronics apart since I can remember and was in high school from 1981 to 1985 so a great time to be alive :)

Started this obsession again about 1 year ago buying a Sony FH-100W then bought my first Sony walkman WM-FX77 and now I have 21 Sony Walkmans including the D6C and F20, 6 working Panasonic walkmans and just started on the AIWA lineup with a HS-JX707

Seems you can never have too many of them :)

I owned a Sharp GF5454 back in the 80's but it was binned (spewing)

Bought a Sony CFS-9900 new back in 1985 from my local Sony shop which has since closed up about 2 years ago.

I enjoy the repairing as much as the listening.

Hi Mike, welcome to the forum! Boxes are becoming harder to find these days but there’s still some deals out there.

James..... :-)
