So this is the guy that wrapped my 9994k in twice packing paper and jammed it in a box that was just big enough for the 9994 to squeeze into. He refunded me the price I payed for the radio minus shipping.

Technically he should have refunded shipping too, if you raise a case with Ebay

Whatta dick!! I feel your anguish. I bought an rx-5150 off a guy on eBay,several years back. Asked him if he had any experience packing radios so that they would survive the U.S.Mail. He told me not to worry and that he knew what he was doing. Well it arrived 5 or 6 days later. It wasn't even in a cardboard box!!! He snagged a butt load of those bubble lined flat rate 9.5 × 11 envelopes from the poist office. Wrapped it in those and then shipped them FedEx!!! Needless to say it was all fu_ked up by the time I got it. So I opened a case with EBay,got all my cabbage back but,the radio was FUBAR. So I totally get where your at. Sorry to hear this happened to you. I hope you can find another one and use the parts from you tweeked one to make one good one outta two mediocre radios.

I feel your pain...always gut renching when you see a skinny parcel.

I got a Sharp GF525, which is big and pretty heavy, and it wasn’t in a box either...it literally had pieces of single cardboard taped to each side, so nothing at every edge lol. Amazingly it arrived completely intact

I told him to read what he agreed to. He tried to pin it on usps. I told him that he should be giving me a full refund. He said yeah if I pay the shipping. I was just tired of dealing with him.
