I wish you well in your Quest, I would also like to acquire one of these but they are terribly expensive. They do make a regular appearances on sales and auction sites but I'll need a pocket full of spare cash to pay for one of these in a minty condition.

In the last 60 days, at least 11 PS-F5's have been offered and sold on eBay and in the past 90 days, at least 8 examples of the PS-F9 have been offered and sold on eBay, so there is no shortage of these turntables and if you really want one, you CAN get one. However, if what you are really saying is..... I want one of these things "for cheap" and please think of me (total stranger) if you ever find one and offer it to me for as little as possible because I'm searching all over and can't find one..... "for cheap"... Well, I'm gonna tell you right now, good luck. I have been wanting to buy one of these forever; many years ago discovered a member here had one for sale and I was prepared to fork over some decent cash for it, but he politely said sorry, but I'm gonna offer it on eBay to see what I can get. I don't blame him one bit, these things are worth a lot of money and why would/should he give it away. In the end, it sold for an amount I would have gladly paid, had I knew it was already on eBay at the time.

These things are not hard to find, and buy, as long as you are willing to pay market price.

There mignt be plenty of these on ebay but if you are canadian most of them and like many other item, the seller don't want to ship it our way. Also I have been dealing for years in the pinball community in a "collector to collector" way. I prefer this so i know the item I am looking for, is as describe, and unlike it happen to me so many time in the past I have more chance that I dont end up with a broken item. I've been trading and buying pinball and parts for so many years and most of he time when its not a collector selling it to me, it end up being trash.

this might take more time but its my way, and I have been patient, which paid me in the past with great quality item. I usually also pay more because I deal with collector or hobbyist most of the time (this is what happen in the pinball community) but I know I will get what I want and in the shape describe.

My last purchase in the pinball community I paid 1200$ more than I would have did from a stranger transaction, but the game has been also well maintain and taking care of like a baby for the past 12 years. Which at the end make that purchase way more worth it.

I will take a better look back at ebay, but every time I found something they dont ship it my way. But maybe in this kind of hobby it is what you have to do to get what you want. I still prefer local, a 8 hours drive or dealing with someone in the community.
