Decapping ICs (removing epoxy packaging from chips to expose the dies)

I tried this with a bench grinder when I was in high school, didn't work as well as this guy's method! I ended up settling for ones with a metal cap you just pop off.
Years ago the University of Florida did this looking for chip art

he dident test them after if they still work
they will get contaminated and stop working if exposed like that
