Hey guys (and gals)! Would somebody help me here? Bought BonBeat 40 on eHrbr.dot.com (it seems from one of our fellows member, but i'm not sure). The main board suffers from broken paths and some bypasses were soldered. I restore this unit now and would love to get the service manual OR just the electrical diagram in order to bring the electrical to it's original condition. Any link to download it anywhere on Web? Anybody here to help???

I'm not sure a manual exists for this model. I've never seen one on Ebay or Google or anywhere else.

I'd like to think there is one out there somewhere, rather like the Lasonic 931 which suddenly appeared on ebay and the team grabbed it and put it to good purpose.
If it was a Japanese only marketed boombox? perhaps there is one in a pile somewhere, just those with it don't care about it.

I've never seen a JDM version of the BB40. I believe most BB40's were sold in South America, for some strange reason. A handful also ended up in the US.

Gotcha, it does seem very unusual that such a well known brand, who obviously must have utilised schematics for manufacturing, that they all simply disappeared.

It's the same situation with the RT-S90. An owners manual finally turned up (available on Analog Alley), but the service manual never has, to my knowledge.

True, very curious about the whereabouts of these, be vigilant, you never know, I spotted the lasonic 931, promptly let Chris know about it and the rest is history. I must admit though, not having a service manual for a box that I own does make me very nervous owning it.
