I have had my Lasonic I-931 on for a day blastin and playing music vids as well as movies and the sound-EXCELLENT!
But I noticed that the right part of the display has gone out. It has the blue background but the black numbers are gone. I unplugged it for a minute and then plugged it back in and it was working perfect again-then after 2 hours it went out again. So I unplugged it again then re plugged it-it worked again. What could be causing this glitch? :hmmm:

I know it's not much help, but I run a cheapo FM transmitter at work that 'lost' it's LCD after about 3 days of it running constantly on an AC power pack I attached to it. I just wrote it off and thankfully remember the numbers it was broadcasting on.

After the holiday break I took it back to work and plugged it in and, like magic, the display is working perfectly again, and has done so for the last week without losing the display.

I know this isn't much help, but I think it's an inheirent problem with a cheap LCD moreso than anything natively part of the i931.

Possibly worth hunting around electronics forums for LCD issues? Good luck!

Rock On.

I have seen more trouble like these with LCD panels. There's a plastic lint with wires that makes contact with the LCD
Check if all the wires in this lint make proper contact with the LCD. Corrosion on these contact points can cause this malfunction
