Hi everyone-Here's some photos of my new Lloyd's stereo boombox that I got for 11.50 !!
This thing works perfect and it is seriously powerful!
It sounds great!!
I this has a dial light and Loudness and seperate Bass & treble and all stickers to!!
It has an original Stereo sticker decal on the back-you can see part of it on the badge plate.
I'm so psyched-my first 8-Track boombox!!
Don't know what year but I'm guessing 1976078'??
Enjoy & have super weekend-GB. :-) :-D :w00t: :-P

From the tank era ('70s).Lots of metal in that one! It is quite interesting how units of that era were unbelievably loud for their size.Looking at this vintage equipment today,it's almost incomprehensible the quality you got when buying even a budget radio back during those times!

That looks to be in tip-top shape  Does the tape load in the angled slot on the side? Never seen an 8-track (cassette or player) before! Well done for finding it at that price!

That´s also my thought!
Maybe the 8trackers have been never sold in europe... :hmmm:
I only have seen a few boxes with cardslot at the side.
For example this ACCORD:

Or this strange GRACIA worldreceiver:

Jen's you have 8-track boomboxes in the BBDB too? You've got everything!
more than 200 8track-units.

To your question in the other thread:
I`m developing an online database,yes.
But:Copyright issues are not cleared till now.
The database pictures are nearly ALL taken with the
photographers allowness espeacially for the database.
Authorities can shut down your website immideately while
using pictures from "the wild" and/or the picture owner is performing complaints
against a website`s private owner rsp. a website`s company ownership.That`s the biggest
problem.Would you take the responsibility for the entire picture content ?I.E. --you are allowed to
collect pictures and to put them online on a permanent website only with propper copyrights. When I tried to
collect pictures for the database 6 years ago - I got maximum 100.In had to research myself in libraries,to find old ads,
price lists, owner manuals, catalogs, newspapers, factory sheets, company brochures, asf. I asked at least more than 4000 auctioners for their allowance to use the pictures for the database.

i agree RE: not making copies of the bbdb, but tony is correct it is expensive,$100 for it,is fair considering the amt ... the $$$ now  then perhaps we can get a thread going here were we have a online data base. it might take a bit of work but i am sure it could be done. yes ...

(so I should make a special bbdb offer again ?)
