This is my Tristar which came damaged to me a couple of months ago. It’s an aka of the Berecha J1000 and a couple of others.

It is something ridiculous like 107 meters long! This one is now working but held together by one screw and duct tape. It took a mullering in shipping as the plastic is like paper mache. It sounds pretty good however and makes me giggle when I look at it.

Here are some size comparisons and a vid.

Yep, I've got the Berecha. Not exactly hi-fi, but it does go very loud. I want to get a stencil made so I can re-paint the "1000 Watts" labels. And add some Rockmat inside the speakers to get rid of the resonance.

the speakers are the highest quality components in the whole box and not a bad quality at all.

If I remember correctly these are exactly 42 inch long.

Aww! I've twice watched that eighty-one-second YouTube clip that shows uploader HR camera-panning his "WIDE LOAD" of a sound system, and the evidence persists: the tape counter of this Berecha J1000 doesn't work. Of course, a technician (or an otherwise skillful boomboxer) could open that huge stereo up, locate the Deck 1 mechanism and fit a suitably snug tape-counter rubber belt in place. He or she would then reseal the machine and, in firing it up, send it back into Fun-Yet-Dutiful-Land  . Correct, yes :-D ?

These things are just crazy! They seem to be pretty rare. I almost never seem them up for sale and hardly ever see them posted here.

This is a 5 piece right?

That's kind of hilarious to me for a radio to be so colossally huge & yet has 5.25" woofers...
these have 6 1/2 woofers. At least my helix hx 905 did. The speakers are good quality too. These boxes are loud I'll say that much.

I'd bet they're 5.25's as the sharp above in some of the pics have larger woofers which are definitely 6.5's...to me they look like 5.25's but hey you are pretty knowledgable in speakers too...

Trust me they are 6.5 , I used to own a box identical to the one in the first pic . I took all the speakers out and put the woofers in another box.
